On Sept 1, we finally took Noah for the VCUG to check for reflux. It was hugely traumatic, took a lot time, and we spent ages at CHOP, trying not to get any germs on him. And he’s fine. Perfectly normal valves, no reflux. So finally, after the x-rays confirmed that there was nothing wrong, the urologist admitted that his two positive UTI cultures may have been due to contamination when the sample was taken. Frustrating, but at least it’s behind us.

It took a bit of googling to understand this post, but I’m glad Noah’s okay. It certainly wasn’t fun, but it’s good to have the confirmation that there’s nothing wrong. Hopefully there won’t be any more UTI scares now.
