Eating

I gave Will some banana today, and he flipped out, he loved it so much.

I’m already regretting it, because he has been loving his veggies, like pumpkin, squash, and sweet potato mush, and he will suck on half a brussels sprout until it is a tattered mess, and now he will probably demand nothing but banana…he is only five months and is still terrible at sitting or swallowing, but he wants to eat so badly.

Bwahahahahaha… I can picture this, and it’s hilarious! Babies are so great when they want things.

I remember going to visit auntie Donna when Scott was about 10 months old, and she told me he could talk. I didn’t believe her, but sure enough… he could say banana, and a few other fruit words (I made her have him do some others to prove that banana wasn’t a generic sound for fruit). Not perfectly, but well enough that I had to agree he could talk. Banana was one of his first words, because he liked them so much. (Incidentally, he mastered “Jen” around that time as well).

Man, I really need to get out there and visit; it sounds like Will is getting into the entertaining stage. I’m kind of jealous that mom and dad will be there in a few weeks. Hopefully mom (or Noah) will start teaching him some good tricks!
